Garcia: Black and White

In September, 2019, I was invited to assemble photographs for a one-woman show at Wilder Nightingale Fine Art in Taos, NM.  The owner of the gallery, Rob Nightingale, and I curated the negatives that I chose to print, focusing on photographs that were abstract in nature but contained recognizable architectural or landscape elements.  Of the 50 negatives that I initially selected for us to review, we chose 13, which I printed in my darkroom.  These photographs were shot between 2011, when I first started doing film photography, and 2019, the year of the show, and represent the full spectrum of my photographic work.
