"Stephen [Taos]"

Bad Boys of El Norte: Gelatin-silver photographs of the baddest boys of Northern New Mexico.  For indoor shooting, I chose to use ultrafast film [3200 ISO] so I would not need a tripod, permitting handheld candid shots and also adding a lot of grain to the prints.  These photographs were featured at ¡Orale! Gallery/Art for the Revolution, 114 Kit Carson Road, Taos,  from June 23-July 31 2017. "Nicholas [El Rito]" was awarded Honorable Mention for the 2nd Robert Cornelius Portrait Award in 2018, and will be displayed at the 5th Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography, Barcelona, October 4-21 2018.
